Evolution of a Player
To continue to encourage newer players to play the game more, I've decided to show a few images that showed what I was like in the past. WARNING-Noobiness!

An Unfortunate Truth
Mini Warriors is based in China, where Blogger and YouTube are both banned. Unfortunately, this means I cannot raise the morale for the Chinese community.

A Message to the Community
Post 500! :)
Check out Kenny Plays Games' post on this same subject on his blog.
I'm working with Kenny Plays Games to solve one of the biggest problems ever posed the Mini Warriors community. This problem is itself.
Yes, you heard me right. The community is steadily going downhill, and sooner or later this game will die from a lack of a decent community. The two of us, being quite attached players to this game, have decided to work to boost the poor community.
First problem-newer players are not feeling welcome and/or are not encouraged to play further. Often, newer players find the game complex and brutal, and fail to understand simple aspects of the game that can make the game easier and more fun, but, since there is so much to do, newer players tend to make major mistakes early on. I'm going to admit it, there was a time when I used two-stars over three-stars.
I highly encourage all of you readers out there to spread word about Mini Warriors, and recruit others to join this game and to play it through. Newer players feel that they have terrible and worthless rallies, and when they see better players discouraging use of some heroes, they feel they have not been lucky and their heroes are not good enough. Lacking a method to start over, many simply quit. So, what we must do is to encourage the newer community. Better players, find newer players and encourage them as much as you can, and give them as much help as possible.
Second problem-shaving off the top. I expect many will not understand what I mean by that. What I am trying to describe is that the Mini Warriors community is like a pyramid. The bottom and biggest chunk of the pyramid is the newer player section, consisting of people from PL 0 - PL 30. A middle chunk consists of people from PL 30 - PL 80. There is a middle-high chunk from PL 80 - PL 150, and then the tip of the pyramid, PL 150+. There are many very pro people who are quitting because they do not find the game interesting enough anymore. This is discouraging to newer players. If one starts a game, one typically does not want to see professionals quitting left, right, and center.
The fix for this one is harder. It will be difficult to prevent pros from quitting, although I'm thinking this is because of poor performance on Triniti's part.

Community or Company
Sometimes good games are ruined. Why are the ruined? There are often two reasons.
1-Bad company (a bad company can make bad changes to a game)
2-Bad community (a discouraging community is quite detrimental to a game)
Which one is it? That's up to you to decide.

The "gift code" thing has been removed. I think this kills all hope for that.

Alash?
Why did Alash take so much damage from this battle? I get why Carter did, I sac'd him against an enemy William, also Lancelot got himself killed by running into Merlin, but why Alash took so much damage is odd. He was not against AOE or Achilles.

Kelly the Killer
Wow. Kelly can actually kill without getting hurt. She just one-shot my Gilles de Rais (his squad is dead because Merlin proced, see dead Merlin?). So... wow.
Now I'm wondering what Kelly does against Eugene. If Eugene proced and Kelly proced and hit Eugene, does it kill him or does it heal him to full?
Probably kills him, since GDR couldn't reflect the damage.

Difficult Heroes #2-Kelly
Since I talked about hero-killers in my other post, I feel like I should address Kelly, a hero that can one-shot enemy heroes. Her proc rate is extremely low (25% at Level 10). Anyways, Kelly's skill will kill any hero with one hit. Urza does still resurrect if Kelly hits him and Reinhard is the exception. Reinhard can actually not take damage from Kelly's skill if he has Holy Shield triggered.
I believe Kelly is most useful in only one major situation in the endgame. And this case is when used against Uriah. Uriah's skill can be very annoying, since it procs quite often. With Kelly, however, one-shoting Uriah prevents him from wrecking your backline. Kelly could be used to take out annoying heroes but to be honest I can't find too much use in her. Overall she is decent but can be easily swapped for.
By the way, did you know that Eugene's skill doesn't protect him or his companion against Kelly? Kelly will one-shot Eugene even with skill on.

Experiments #1-Hero Killers
First time I've decided to start testing out stuff about the game. Since I have so many four-star heroes, I feel like it would be bad to not use this to my advantage and use them to test aspects of the game out.
I've been testing out a bunch of hero-targetting heroes (Nicolai, Elizabeth, Robinhood, Morgana, and Circe), and here are my results. I decided to test them out in a test rally against a weaker PVP opponent.
I took out some heroes from my rally on purpose, I essentially wanted as little AOE as possible, but not so little that I could not win the battle.
This was the battle I did.
I used 5 + 1 so I could see how the enemy reacted to my mass of hero-targetters.
By the way, I'm going to be re-conducting this test tomorrow with Kelly added in, I couldn't find any PVP battle I felt confident I could win once Kelly was added.
Eugene was used because he protects heroes and I wanted my hero-killers to stay alive as long as possible, since the enemy used 3 MA strategy.
Not sure Nicolai and Elizabeth really did that well, the damage does not look very good.
Also, Robinhood proced 6 times, which is decent. Only Level 5 skill, so....
By the way, "hardest" PVP battle of the day, I barely won!
Then again, I was testing.

Three-Star Substitutes
Some three-stars can work as sufficient substitutes for four-stars that you do not have. Examples:
Reinhard can easily be substitued by 3-star Reinhards.
3-star Carters don't work very well, but are decent.
3-star Archers are the best 3-stars.
Polymorph mages are excellent.
3-star musketeers are decent, but because of the lowered proc rate they are not as good as they once were.

Long Term Heroes
In Mini Warriors, many heroes are best when you are at higher levels. These are not so good at lower levels but can be very excellent at higher levels. The heroes on today's post are mostly heroes that are very good at higher levels and should be kept and trained so that they are not behind when you achieve higher levels.
They include:
Merlin
Sarky
Terim (surprisingly not bad at higher levels)
Uriah
Hyacinth
Reinhard
Seamas (also not bad at higher levels)
Gilles de Rais
Circe
Belthor
Robinhood (not that bad at higher levels)

Difficult Heroes #1-Charles Martel
This is a new series, where I suggest how heroes with poor overall quality should be used. First of all, good old Charles Martel.
Charles Martel is probably the worst four-star hero there is. But how can using him be possible? First of all, he should never be used in a defensive situation (A.K.A. when you are offline and the enemy attacks you), because his skill gives you morale, and the computer uses morale terribly.
Charles Martel should be only used offensively, and where your morale skills are very useful. Because of the 1.8 morale cooldown update, he has diminshed in use. However, since he gives you extra morale and extra morale tends to be versatile, you coud spend it on several different things. Mist and heal orb to protect your own troops, explosion to damage the enemy, and militia/ninjas/giants to attack the enemy. Overall, he still remains weak and difficult to use.

Vote
There are two things I'm in the middle of doing right now and I want you guys to vote on what I should finish first, the hero guide or the hero comparison page? I don't really care, so I wanted you guys to have to choice on what you would like to see sooner.
Also, on the hero guide, you can say which heroes you want me to finish first.

Cavalry Broken-DO NOT USE YET
Templar Cavalry have so far proved to be useless. Although they are immune to stun and polymorph, it seems that enemies will not even try to polymorph them. Polymorph mages will only proc on the nearest squad to them, and it seems that upgrading to them is useless. There is also a rumor that shock cavalry are not working either.
Seems like Triniti's coding style is bad. No wonder there are many problems with this game. I honestly want to take a look at the Tavern Rate code and the PVP Matchup code for this game.

CATAPULTS AND CASTLES?!
Found a image from the oldest days of Mini Warriors. It depicts what are... CATAPULTS! AMAZING!
Also, a castle:

Take a look at this image. It seems to be very odd...
Any explanations? Nope.
Especially notice what the heroes are called. "Great Wizard"?

See the guy with a hammer on a griffin? Then, I realized it was actually...

Whoops! Also, I found a schematic on the blonde female mage on the homescreen.

Hero Comparisons
Many heroes in this game are similar in power. This post is intended to help you distinguish between which heroes should be used.
Healers
Sarah, Philinus, Jerome, Manto, and Hyacinth.
Hyacinth is a powerful healer. He typically heal more than Sarah, and will be able to protect an entire row for a long time. Especially strong with Octavius.
Sarah doesn't heal that much when you compare her to her competitors. Of course, she can be a good healer if you don't have anything else, but her skill has to proc to heal, unlike Hyacinth.
Manto is essentially a more than good replacement for Sarah. He heals more but his drawback is if allies move out of his "healing spring", his heal becomes worthless.
Jerome is okay when used along heroes that don't rely too much on their minions, but because of his low proc rate, he is outstripped by Philinus.
Philinus is an excellent guy to keep heroes alive. His good heal works excellently with Reinhard. Overall, quite a useful hero.

Anticipate this Weekend!
Just wanted to throw it out there: This weekend we have Friday off (some teacher development day) so I'll be sure to work on the Hero Guide a bit more. Please hang in there!
Also, Triniti seems to be okay with several heroes having the same first name.
Edward, Edward IV
William, William Tell
Charles Martel, Charles the Great

Thank You, Followers
I have had many moments in the history of my blog where I have wanted to quit doing this. And yet, the blog continues today. Why? I do it for all of the followers surrounding my blog. Without this group of followers, this blog would ave been long gone. Thank you, everyone.
Random Stuff
Well, look at that! Nearing post 500! I have no ideas about what to do for this one. Anyways, I also wanted to just tell everyone that when the Legion comes out, if it is possible to create your own Legion with your own name, I'll create one called the Order of the Elites. Yeah, crappy name.....

The Disappointing Community
Looking through the forums I have found several negative figures in the Mini Warriors community. I'm wondering if this game is on a downhill slope...
If the game really is going downhill, I'm going to try to keep on playing as long as I can, but there is always a point where a game can go too far. If that happens with Mini Warriors, I think I might quit.

Three-Stars and Four-Stars
I have seen tons of people raging because of the tavern rates for four-stars being too "low". Thus, I created this thread to try to eliminate these "rage threads". I have a theory about how the tavern works based a few pieces of information.
1-The fact that when you use a bronze/silver refresh and get a non-two or one-star hero, it will say "A three or four star hero has just showed up!", as IF THEY WERE CONSIDERED TO BE THE SAME.
2-The fact that my biggest failstreak (40 refreshes, no four-stars) was when I COLLECTED THREE-STARS. Upon dismissing most of my three-stars, my luck changed to NEARLY 1 IN 3!
So, my idea is that the chances that a four-star shows up is governed by the following idea:
More four-stars and three-stars = Less chance to get one
It seems reasonable, right? The game should be balanced, so that everyone doesn't get all the four-stars right off the bat.
If any of you tavern-raging people are mad at this rate, I have two things to say. One, try dismissing all your three-stars and see if that helps (I am not responsible if it doesn't). Two, remember that four-stars are SUPPOSED TO BE RARE!!! (those players with all four-stars at low levels tend to spend lots of cash).
If you aren't a tavern-rager, then I say that you should spread the word. There is no way this is going to stay at the top of the posts list, and there is even less chance this will be stickied, so word of mouth is the only way my theory could spread around.
One more note: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR LOSS OF THREE-STARS IF YOU TRY MY STRATEGY AND IT FAILS. I DIDN'T DISMISS ALL MY THREE-STARS, I KEPT MY ARCHERS AND MUSKETEERS! KEEP THAT IN MIND!

I can't believe I was that nooby at one point xD
Look how many problems there are in my rally! Plus, Urza is terrible and I though El Cid was xD!

Some people say he is a must-have now, but no matter what I just cannot find the usefulness in him. Can any of you find it? It still seems to be he's a loser

Mysterious Heroes
Before you read the post, please remember that this took nearly thirty minutes to gather information about. There is no other post today as a result of this. Anyways, I REALLY hope you enjoy this, because thirty minutes is a new record for any post I've ever done.
Throughout Mini Warriors history, I have found several images of heroes that have popped up, but were never added. I will show some images here and I'd like you guys to reply with your ideas to whom these strange images are.
There are at least four unknown heroes on this one. In the front, next to Carter a White Knight (Shazzo?) is visible. Behind Arthur and next to Morgana are two others. A Native-American archer behind Morgana and a Gothic Spearman next to Morgana. Finally, the last one is next to Cannon, in the back on the left side. This character seems to be like a variant of Leonidas, but it cannot be Leonidas, as Leonidas is also in the image on the opposite side. I also want to point something out. Orcs are on both sides, suggesting that perhaps orc heroes will be available in the future?
Sorry for the bad quality on this next image. This one has a mysterious female mage looking somewhat like Elizabeth. Was it Elizabeth's original skin? Might it be Cordelia? Ermantrude? Sarah's mother? The world may never know.
The next image has slightly better quality. Featuring an odd savage spearman with red hair and a mysterious potions mage. Hmm....
And on the next one, the famous chariot lord. Could this one be a five-star?

My Opinion #7-Tavern Rates + Tips
I feel like I've been pretty lucky in the tavern. I also think I figured out the trick to getting more four-star heroes, but by "trick" is unconfirmed and could potentially be risky. Anyways, I'm only missing the following four-stars at PL81:
TAVERN HEROES
Edward IV (looked through my heroes realized I don't have him)
Terim (I don't care, Terim sucks!)
QUEST HEROES
Merlin (not planning to spend money)
Uriah (not planning to spend money)
Cannon (almost there.... 250 more.....)
OTHER HEROES
Mary Read (not available lol)
Manto (not available lol)
The five new heroes in 1.9
My trick, just so all of you know, is firing as many unused heroes (except for four-stars) as possible. I had a large streak of four-stars (nearly one a day) at one point when I didn't believe in collecting three-stars. Then I tried collecting three-stars, and failed my streak (40 FAILS-IN A ROW!). I broke this failstreak with GDR, but continued to fail. I thought maybe the game had some beginner's luck idea implemented, where your rates were higher for lower PL people. But then, I don't know what made me do it, but I fired all my three-stars and my four-star rate immediately HYPERJUMPED to 1 in about 3 or 4. I got Nicolai, Edward, Jerome, Kelly and Alash in the same week. Ever since then I've made sure not to have too many three-stars, and I've been doing quite well. I find that saving up at least 3-4 gobletscrystal refreshes always lands me a four-star every time I try my luck. I saved up about 16 refreshes worth of goblets and crystals, and got Achilles, Saladin, Bellerophon, Ragnar, and Seamas (formerly Summers) in the same go. I know that might not be the best example, since Seamas is not a very good tank and Ragnar and Bellerophon are terrible, but still, they are four-stars, and the only four-star worth getting from the tavern for me is Edward IV. Of course, I'm still PVPing my way to Cannon.
Anyways, this was copied straight from the forums, but since it was copied from my own post no harm is done!

The MW Blog, 3.0
Made some new changes and deleted the old background with tons of heroes everywhere. Hopefully this is more suitable to everyone and nothing is hard to read anymore.
I changed the description and a few of the fonts to fit with the Mini Warriors theme. Enjoy!

1 in 3
Saved up about 15 refreshes, used them all.
Obtained:
Seamas (formerly Summers)
Achilles (bye-bye, Leo)
Saladin (AOE it up!)
Bellerophon (good.... now I can lag out the game, but Belle is useless for everything else...)
Ragnar (never going to use him)

My Hardest Battle Ever-Results
Today I fought against a Prestige 87 guy. This was the hardest battle I've ever fought. Here are the results:
Nicolai did as I expected, he proc'd often and killed tons. I put a heal necklace on Alash by accident lol. Edward and Ignatius' troops did excellently, with those critical and armor-pierce hits. Hyacinth was slightly disappointing. It was those three-star archers that really AMAZED me. One GDR won't be able to hold back against three or four of them. I've always tried to make versatile rallies, but I this is the end for that. Time to buff up my AOE!

Series Archive Now Available!
An archive of every single series I've ever done is now out! Will be completed soon, just like the Hero Guide!
Dillemma #6: Morgana VS Hedvig
A common question I get from many people is on the topic of silencer heroes. There are two in total, Morgana and Hedvig. The 3-star versions don't actually silence.
In almost all cases, Morgana is the preferred choice. Hedvig only elongates cooldown time, but that can be more useful than Morgana.
Morgana silences really deadly enemies such as Merlin and completely blocks out their skill, rendering them close to useless for a period of time. However, Morgana's silencing doesn't last as long as Hedvig's cooldown changing.
Let's compare the level 1 skills.
Morgana-40% chance to silence a random enemy hero, preventing him from activating his skill for 6 seconds.
Hedvig-20% chance to deal 62 damage to an enemy hero and increase 3 seconds tfor this hero's skill CD. The effect lasts for 10 seconds.
When used against a musketeer such as Sarky with a ten second cooldown, Morgana's skill simply prevents the musketeer from procing for six seconds. Hedvig will increase their cooldown by three seconds, and with the poor proc times musketeers have, this could severely impact enemy musketeers.
This might be an inaccurate comparison, since I'm comparing the level one skills and not level ten skills.

Makes No Sense
What....
I don't get it. What's with the hero story? Elger isn't even mentioned xD.
Also:
This story took me a while to figure out. What it means is that Lorrie is the right-hand man of Omar (a right-hand man is basically like a subordinate that is second-in-command under someone else), and that Lorrie is more arm strength than man. Still hard to figure out? Don't blame yourself. I literally used half a day! :)

My AOE-Part 2
This is what I see most of the time:
Yeah, Azod does lots of damage, then my well upgraded Galahad and Gawain do quite well. Sarky is 5th with < 17000 damage.
Really Sarky? By the way, he is clearly alive in the background, spot him yet?
Also what the what happened to my musketeer Alfred? He is not even in the top 5. And yet Azod does 342K.
>:(
Wait, there Alfred is. At least his minions did well. *Cough**Cough*SARKY!*Cough*

Which Three Stars?
There is a wide range of three-stars that are available to most people. Since one can only fit so many heroes into their rally, which ones are the best ones to use?
Top picks for me are AoE. Musketeers and archers are tied at the top, as they both have situations in which they can be better than the other.
Next layer, polymorph mages. The can be a major pain for your enemy in certain cases.
Healers-not that good, but still usable.
Spartans, or three-star Leonidas troops. These can be almost as good as Leonidas is many situations. Also at this level are shockwave pikemen, which can wreck enemy frontlines, Halo Cav, which are quite good as attack and defense, Stomper Cav, which provide a steady stream of AOE, and Holy Knights-mini Reinhards.
Dwarf Pavisers are worse, as there are so many tanks choices better.
The worst? Five lions troopers. Their skill is next to worthless.

My AOE-Part 1
This is what I see occasionally:
This actually rarely happens, because of my musketeers' really long cooldown rates and low procs rates. William usually gets a lot better, because of his low cooldown rate and high proc rate.
Also, sorry for messed up image, Imgur failed on me :(

Morgana
I find Morgana can be quite useful, and Morgana has busted me out of quite a few situations, but overall I don't like her except for the situations mentioned here:
VS Merlin - Perfect way to stop him from procing.
VS Sarky/AOE -For times when GDR fails.
VS Circe - Now she can't clone my epic damage Sarky
VS Any hero with dangerous skill - Yeah...

Complete Guide of Heroes 50% Done!
The title says it all. Check out this new addition to the blog in the Useful Information section on the sidebar.
My Opinion #7-Down or Up?
In previous posts, I've mentioned that the game is going downhill for a lot of people, but I've never stated my opinion on this matter. I think the game is going both ways. 1.8 has been good for me, allowing new strategies (I kinda like 28 instead of 20 slots), but also the new heroes and new mechanics are pretty cool. What I don't like is the timer. Also, several other aspects of 1.8 aren't that good. The XP balances, for one example.

Special Stages > PVP
I find the special stages tend to give me more XP than the PVP stages. I think this is so becuase the special stages only cost 6 energy, or 40% of how much PVP battles cost. In the long term I know doing both are good, but when I'm doing homework I find special stages are a lot easier to do, as not a lot of rally changing is necessary. Even on the four-star stages with lots of Merlin and Sarky, I find I do fine, mainly because the enemy frontline is too weak to hold back my troops long enough for AOE to proc enough.
I do want Cannon, however!

Hero Stories
Sometimes I just like to read the hero background stories just for fun. Anyone have a personal favorite background story? Mine is Luter's. He's a slave owner from another continent who tried to abduct someone named Euxine (female from what I can piece together).

New Heroes!
Check out the new heroes at httpforum.trinitigame.comforumviewtopic.phpf=115&t=543662。
So, what do you guys think?
Firstly, I see that William Tell is here. Well, i'm a bit of a history geek.
William Tell is basically the Robinhood of Switzerland.
Charles the Great? You mean Charlemagne?
I'm still figuring out the rest...

What the What?
Unfortunately by reflexes weren't fast enough so no picture :(
Anyways, saw GDR get bombed by a low health Sarky, Sarky immediately began to take chunks of 333 damage stacked up 20 times (from GDR's 20 minions ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)).
Then, Sarky died after two reflections, but has his skill causes damage six times, he should have taken more damage, except he's dead, right?
Well, he came back to life for half a second, died again, came back to life again, and died again, and this repeated 5 times in a row.

Filling
Using different types of strategies create different types of rallies. Something I'd like to discuss today is how to fill up a rally.
Before you reach PL 60 and get 18 hero slots, you should focus on filling rows, as if there are not enough heroes in a row, the enemy will run through that easily. Between PLs 60-80, it becomes only semi-important to fill up all rows, and if you have Alash or Reinhard or other self-sufficient tanks, it is possible to use only one hero in a row. Remember at this point it is very crucial to make sure your AoE survive. Good AoE skills are also very important. After PL 80 making sure you have at least one hero in every row is not a bad idea, but just make sure your army is balanced. If you concentrate all your power into one section and do not provide good enough tanking ability in the weakspot, your rally will slowly fall apart.

Win or Nothing
It seems to me that recently my rally has been challenged very few times compared to what usually happens to me. I'm getting either a lot of victories or just nothing at all. It is because people are unwilling to challenge my rally (too OP?) or is it because they can't even see my rally? I've been crushing all PVP challenges up to 5 PL's higher than me, the only problems I have are with >PL 80, because they get one more hero than me. Not fair! :/

My Opinion #6-5 + 1
Since I reached the sixth post of this series I decided to describe what the 5 + 1 strategy is (get my logic? 5 + 1 = 6).
Firstly, what is the strategy? Well, it's basically where you fill up 4 rows completely and one row with only 3 heroes. Then, (I'm not sure if it always has to be Reinhard) you add a Reinhard on his own in a row.
Well, I honestly think this strategy is a pretty good one against enemies, but I don't believe it has a very good capablity defensively. Were the enemy to charge you with a load of cavalry against Reinhard, the whole rally could fall apart pretty easily. I'm still studiying the strengths and weaknesses, however.

Urza?
I'm wondering if Urza could potentially work with Philinus, just like Reinhard. Perhaps he wouldn't be the best of choices, but for those who have no other good heroes, Urza could serve as a decent tank until Reinhard is obtained. Anyone have any different opinions?

Gift Codes-EXCLUSIVE INFORMATION!
I have gotten some info recently on the topic of the Mini Warriors Gift Code, which was something introduced in an earlier version but no active gift codes have been seen yet. Personally, this subject is of the utmost importance to share with everyone out there.
The gift code seems to be something like a promo code, where Triniti will release one to the public and anyone who finds one may use it in the in-game gift code box. Following this, the player will receive the rewards associated with that gift code.
Also, there are rumors that Goathumper has got one, but are not 100% confirmed...

Rally Help Reopened
As many of you already know, the Rally Help has already been restarted and opened to the public. Hopefully it doesn't start eating all my time again.
Also, I'm going to be starting a live Q&A kinda thing. Sometimes I'll be on the my Mini Warriors chat room, and I can answer any AND ALL questions you have LIVE there.
So... yeah. By the way, I am on right now in case you are reading this at 8:00 Pacific Time.

My Opinion #5-Healers
Four healers in the game. Which ones are best? Here is my opinion.
Hyacinth is at the top. That halo is especially good to protect your frontline. Unfortunately, only lasts for 40 seconds. :(
Philinus isn't that bad either. Protecting your heroes is almost as important as protecting your frontline.
Sarah is probably the worst four-star healer, because she isn't nearly as effective as Hyacinth.
Manto is currently unconfirmed, but he could potentially be Sarah's replacement because of the fact that his heal is very powerful, but doesn't work when heroes move out of the range. However, if Manto gets nerfed he is very likely to start failing.
