Trying to Get Back

I've been trying to get back into the game, but motivation is low and Triniti seems to have abandoned the game. The forums are dead (Sam and fishjia both disappeared) and there doesn't appear to have been any major updates. I heard iOS got a new hero that Android players don't have (Randall or something, my friend says he works well with Seth)

What's going on with Triniti?

Also, since you all have last seen me, my PL has risen to 147, I've five-star emblemed more heroes, and my AP has increased by 80000.

Where Have I Been, Again?

Recently I've had three questions as to what has happened with me and why I suddenly disappeared.

I might do more posts again in the future, but a lot of things have come up recently and the fact that I kinda quit Mini Warriors for a while is the main reason I haven't posted in a while.

Nice to see some people still actually read this though, which means that Mini Warriors is not dead! :D

EDIT: I see that people like to come here for the Heroes Ranking and the information I have on the game, sorry it's outdated, but at least it's better than the Wix site, amirite? No jk I'll probably re-update it again someday.

Took a looking at the last Heroes Ranking page... It's from 2015... JEEZ that's a long time ago.

Poorly Built Rally

I'm not sure what this player is doing with their rally, they haven't upgraded a lot of their troops, resulting in a 114k AP rally at PL133:
I don't understand why you would do that...

Needless to say I defeated him.

Empty Rally?!

I come across some really strange PVP enemies, here's a prime example.
Technically this isn't PVP, this is my legion mate AllMac:
Their rally is literally nothing. There are no heroes, and I'm not sure how they did this.

I entered the battle and instantaneously won.

Alash didn't even finish triggering his skill! What happened?

Almost

Saw a legion battle enemy reduced to almost nothing:

I assume my legion mate just ran out of time.
There were only two enemy heroes left, and neither of them had a squad:

Surprisingly, the battle actually took me 1:44 because the AI kept placing giants or militia that would take forever to kill.

And the end goal? Sarky actually did a MASSIVE amount of damage.

Higher AP PVP Battles, and Circe is OP?!

I hope all of you know that Attack Power (AP) doesn't actually matter a whole lot, I fought two 290-300k opponents (with my 273k army) and won both stages.

Here was the easier battle:
(as an interesting part of this battle I discovered Terim's dragon could tank Robinhood's skill, which may be a good or bad thing. If it tanks it it will die super quickly, but on the bright side it's not a very important hero to lose... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯)

I have a couple of strategies I use for these battles.
First of all, make sure all units correspond to strengths and weaknesses properly. I always make sure I have all the strengths and weaknesses planned out so I can deal maximum damage while taking minimum damage.

Another key part is to use your rally effectively. A little strategy goes a long way, and never underestimate the power of any four-star hero (yes, even heroes like Charles Martel, Anatole, or Ragnar, although that doesn't happen as often)

Here was the 300k AP battle:

I found a couple things were very effective in this battle.
First of all, I moved my tanks around so Reinhard had less to deal with and therefore Philinus and Terim weren't overrun. Overloading a single hero can result in failure.
Secondly, I got an early edge when Einar and Sarky tore through their rows. I find an early edge is very useful (if it doesn't happen, use morale skills to turn the balance of the battle back into your favor)
Thirdly, Charles the Great was placed in a row where he would take a lot of damage and therefore spawn his second squad in, which helped greatly in tanking for that row.
Fourth, Choe Yeong survived for the entire battle, and was able to get many skill procs in, allowing maximum troop spawnage.
Fifth, Circe was important, as she cloned some of his best heroes (cloning Bellerophon allowed me to get extra troops--they don't disappear when the illusion disappears :D)
And finally, I used some rows to stall enemies, effectively blocking his damage rows until my other rows could get to attacking them.

Here are some stats from the battle:
Einar and Sarky, doing their usual AOE damage, with Circe's illusion (she cloned enemy AOE heroes) doing a close third. CTG's second squad counts toward hero's damage dealt, so that's why he ranks pretty high up.

Philinus did a very good job keeping Reinhard alive:
Leonidas healed a lot because of his hero emblem (which I have up to third tier)

Jerome really surprised me, dealing more damage than Ignatius! I'm surprised Achilles didn't make it on this list, I forgot what happened to him. Mages a really good with damage, and musketeers (Sarky at the bottom) don't do too bad either.

And I'm beginning to notice a trend. Circe's cloning ability can be very good if the opponent has a hero that summons extra minions, especially Charles the Great. If the enemy has a 5-star hero emblem upgrade on CTG, couldn't Circe cloning him effectively spawn in 3 squads of cavalry?
Note, that is for every proc, I have seen Circe proc very often (twice in three seconds)
Therefore, you could use (or abuse) this ability to summon in 150 extra troops by cloning an enemy CTG.

These new unit-summoning heroes just found their weakness.
Circe is a great hero in that aspect, she can use any enemy ability against them. (cloning Merlin was great)
I could foresee a way to counter unit-spawning rallies through this.

Rally--May 18 2017

Sorry if this is a little concentrated, but I generally like to post a new picture of my rally every time I make a significant-ish change.
In this case, I've added Circe back in and Laverty is doing a different job as a tank now. I plan to get him to Shock Cavalry to soften up enemies for my pikes to mow down, and his squad serving as a tank squad for the rest of the battle.
Also, Einar returns to the back row so there are less chance he'll charge right into the enemy lines.
