An AOE Comparison and Guide

Tons of heroes in this game are AOE heroes. Today you get a comparison and guide for AOE.

3-Star Archers have slightly weak damage with high proc rate. Edward IV definitely would help.

3-Star Musketeers have very good damage with low proc rate. Edward IV might not help as much (he buffs damage, and if he overbuffs the musketeer's damage it will be overkill)

Sarky is just best AOE in the whole game (maybe only Merlin is better).

Merlin is epic. Lightning shocks are incredible.

William has to go into enemy lines to AOE, but useful for taking out enemy mages while the rest of the armies battle. Hmm.... trying unconventional strategies now.

Although technically not an AOE, Belthor is a interesting guy to have in your AOE rallies, because sheep + AOE = quick enemy massacre.

Edward is an AOE hero, although his skill isn't the most important of skills. It's his luck that makes him valuable. He also works well with Belthor because of his ability to clean up sheep easily with all those lucky critical hits.

Edward IV is another hero good for AOE. At lower levels he is very versatile, but as your skills are upgraded further and further he becomes less and less versatile.

Since the 1.7 update, when GDR was implemented, AOE has always been vulnerable. Thus, you need a method to protect your AOE. The simplest way is to use Octavius with Hyacinth (Octavius' attack goes up when he takes damage, not when he is at a certain health, thus he and Hyacinth's healing make it simple to take out GDR)

Shazzo may also be able to work well with Edward and Belthor, and if Galahad was added into the mix, a good mix it would be. Galahad stuns eroes long enough for Shazzo to decrease their defense. Belthors renders them vulnerable after polymorphing, and then Edward pumps shots at the enemy while Sarky blasts everything away. Octavius and Hyacinth take out enemy GDRs, and finaly William busts the enemy mages. Pretty good combo in my opinion. Lancelot, the other AOE cavalry, is also decent because of his helaing strike. I say Lancelot is therefore another useful enemy mage-busting weapon. Now... how to incorporate Joan into this?
