My reaction:
Welcome to the magical world of Mini Warriors, a world called Algers. Lead armies to battle in the ruins of Matilda, or take to the new continent and fight there instead. This is war, and it's time to fight. Want to contact Gamerichie? EMail me @gamerichieawesomeness@gmail.com

Two Continents
In 1.8 there will be two continents. One that already exists, and a new continent. called Rosabella I think.
Daily Hero #28-Elizabeth
Elizabeth works well with Nicolai and Robinhood in taking out heroes. You could easily create a hero-killing combo with them and Kelly. All in all, Elizabeth is not bad, so I'd say 8.7 for her.
BTW, she really reminds me of the wicked witch.

Daily Hero #27-Leonidas
Leonidas really can get some crits out. However, his low def means you need to equip dodge necklaces onto him. So, 8.8 for SPARTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
Oh yeah, the actual image of the hero:
Oh yeah, the actual image of the hero:
New 1.8 Heroes
In 1.8, 5 more four-stars will be added. Their names have not been released but their skills have been. The folllowing skills can be expected to be seen in 1.8:
Stone skin: Trigger at start of the battle that hero and hero's squad can rstore {0} HP per second.
Lands fusion: Release at start of the battle, all dead minions in the squad will become stone troops and continue to fight. After reborn, basic HP will increase by{X}%.
Berserker: When an enemy's hero is killed, hero will boost attack by{X}% and max HP will also be increased.
Redemption: {0}% chance to resurrect a hero with {X} HP.
Legendary artisan: Craft a mechanic fire dragon per{X}s which has{2}% basic attributes of hero. The dragon is invincible and will disappear in{X}s.
Well, the Redemption skill used to be Hilda's skill, thus she used to be useful, then they nerfed her by changing her skill into a weak self-healing skill, and then buffed it by changing it to the Soul Inspiring (dropping enemy attack) skill.
The other skills look interesting...
I wonder, if Helmar got the Berserker skill he would be more useful, and if Hilda got the Redemption skill back it would greatly benefit her.
Is that what Trinity is trying? Only time will tell the answer.

Daily Hero #26-Joan
On the infantry chain, Joan isn't that good, being weaker than Willam. Her buff works well with Shazzo's debuffing. The two of them make a powerful duo, thus.

No Dags
Interesting. No hero uses a dagger. That likely means no mercenaries-wait, Alash and Octavius are mercenaries. No thieves then. I wonder, were they to add a thief as a hero, what minions would that hero have? Or would it be a new minion type?
Daily Hero #25-Gawain
Gawain was supposed to be one of the best knights of the round table, and it is said only Lancelot matched him. That remains true here, because a demon pikeman with an explosive attack just cannot be bad. It just can't.

Edward IV's Buddies
Edward IV works well with most heroes. These are:
Galahad
Lancelot
Uriah (maybe)
[tanks are necessary, but Edward IV buffing them is a waste]
Merlin is the only AoE mage, but other mages work too.
William
Octavius? (very streched)
Leonidas
Gawain
Ignatius
[all pikemen but Urza]
Robinhood IF with Nicolai
Nicolai
Edward
Sarky
3-star archers/musketeers
These will generally work well with Edward IV, as the buff Edward IV uses can buff these heroes greatly.

Daily Hero #24-Edward
Edward is a personal favorite of many people. I don't have him, but I definitely want him! His epic luck can only be matched by William, and given the fact he is a musketeer, he and his troops can deal NSNE crits. Woot hoot, go stun-bombing lucky pirate!
9.4, because he matches Sarky in excellence.

Tanks
My tank rankings (best to worst, top to bottom):
These are only for the tanking ability of the hero and minions, not the general ability of the hero.
Gilles de Rais (only way to counter Merlin)
Alash (dat dodge)
Circe Clone (infinite hp = infinite tanking for a short while + copying the skill too)
Carter (decent, not bad)
Shazzo (slightly worse, try to use less often)
Eugene (at least he has paviser tanks)
Kelly (not suggested, but tanks decent due to her dodge of 30)
Reinhard (only the hero can tank, and only for a short while while he draws AoE and other attacks)
Helmar (only decent for tanking, though the hero alone wouldn't be bad for tanking)
Urza (scaled down version of Helmar for tanking, minus the higher hp stats)
Charles Martel (worst paviser EVER, but his minions still tank, unlike Hedvig)
Hedvig (too average)
Daily Hero #23-Uriah
Uriah is decent, but he suffers from 10000 crystals being the cost. Use him if you have him, but he isn't necessary/very important unlike Merlin.

Luck
William and Edward are both very lucky with 40 luck. Once, Reinhard had 40 luck too, but then he was nerfed... to a mere 15. Guess he's not very lucky.
Daily Hero #22-William
William is one of my personal favorites, because of his versatility. He can be used to tank while damaging, and his skill is excellent for ripping through enemies, especially Octavius. William also easily busts pikemen, but unfortunately he can't do all of these at once. Plus, because he gets killed quite often once enemies start attacking him... 9.3 for versatility!
Also, did I mention his 40 luck, matched only by Edward?

You know what they say, third time's the charm. A player named 'Freedom' challenged me. First attempt, he failed. Second attempt, he failed. Third attempt, he managed to defeat me. The third time really is the charm!

Refresh Rates
I decided to run an experiment that when I did 100 of each refresh, how many 4-stars and 3-stars would show up. I finally got the data for everything, and my results are seen below:
Goblet took a long time.
Bronze: 12 3-stars, 0 four-stars.
Silver: 23 3-stars, 1 four-star.
Gold: 92 3-stars, 4 four-stars.
Goblet: 84 3-stars, 7 four-stars.
Gold and goblet sometimes gave me 2-stars lol.
The exact number shows the percentage (about) when you do any of the refreshes (e.g. 12- 3-stars = 12% rate).
Anyone else want to try the experiment (or a modified version) and see what you get? I'd add on the results, and it would be more accurate (more data = more accuracy).

Daily Hero #20-Morgana
Morgana is famous in Celtic mythology for being a dark mage that was among the greatness of Merlin. Morgana isn't as useful in Mini Warriors, but she still has some effect on the enemy helping you with AoE.
8.3 (May go up in future)
Morgana is also definitely better than the alternative Hedvig.

Excitement
I can't wait for the new 1.8 update. It's going to be so AWESOME with the new strategy and unit changing!
Daily Hero #19-Kelly
Kelly can one-shot enemies, but her skill has low activation rates. Also, Nicolai is much better.

Daily Hero #18-Sarah
Sarah's healing ability, with her decent damage on enemies makes her pretty good. Definitely an 8.9 because there are situations when Philinus would be better.
Test Rally
Someone left their test rally on, and I destroyed them easily. Interesting rally, however, given the fact that it is pure 1-star with a couple 2 and 3-stars.

No scrolls. That leads to a bad Sarky. Well my firebombs are such weak!

Urza will help you in the early levels but later on just drop him.
6.1, because he REALLY becomes useless later on. I don't know why I ever wanted him so badly.

Elizabeth's Ability
Elizabeth's ability is not bad, and especially with Nicolai, 3-star archers, and Robinhood her skill gets better. Edward IV fails to be able to buff Elizabeth's skill, but she still can chunk out enemy hero's HP. Elizabeth needs to proc very often, which is why putting her closer to the front is a good idea.
Daily Hero #16-Hilda
Hilda is not very effective at the lower levels, but as your level increases Hilda's effective increases with those levels. Hilda, honestly, can be a VERY excellent counter for Edward IV, because her skill does the exact opposite of Edward IV. Unfortunately, sometimes she just charges to the front and dies, causing her to have a low proc rate. Well, I'm going to rate her 7.8.

Daily Hero #15-Carter
Carter was one of the first tanks in this game. But, in modern days, he slowly lacks power because of all the new ways to kill tanks. Given the fact that Carter can't hit very hard anymore, I feel that 8.9 is the best possible rating for Carter. Also, for people that have been following the series, a 10 means that the hero is PERFECT in EVERY WAY IMAGINABLE. So, no 10s to heroes out there. The max is about a 9.5.
Also, just on the side, I may start a quiz about these stats and stuff. ;)

Exasperated
A goblet and 152 crystals down the drain. Three-stars. My hero encounter rate used to be very good. How good? (IT'S OVAH 9000- nvm horrible timing for that). Now it's gone (IT'S LESSTHAN -9000 [i need to stop with those puns]). I am exasperated.

Bellerophon can create extra minions but unfortunately his skill activation rate is kind of low. So, I rate him about a 8.5.

Hyacinth is pretty useful with combos, and his healing ability gives your troops that extra edge into the second half of the battle.

Free Three
By this point, three-stars are so common for me in the gold refresh I don't get surprised anymore when I get a three-star unlike my personality when I was noobier. I'm betting the four-stars are waiting FOUR me, and when I finally get them they will be still there FOUR me. Darn I am horrible at these puns.

Eugene is very difficult to use. I rank him about a 7. He's not TOTALLY worthless, he's just ALMOST worthless.

3-Star Archers
3-Star archers will get you decent damage, but the damage amount is often more stable and expectable. Archers also have buffed range. Archers may be a substitute for musketeers?

3-Star Musketeers
There are four three-star musketeers (Alfred, Donald, Gerald and Bernard), and they all can be substituted with Sarky. Honestly, these musketeers are pretty awesome, having the highest technology and attack of all the other units. Muskets > ALL!
Daily Hero #11-Ignatius
Ignatius is such a a tank buster! He murders Shazzo, Carter, etc. but gets killed by GDR. Ah well.

Combinations
Merlin + Octavius is good, especially in middle row, because GDR, that typiclly will kill Merlin, gets countered by Octavius.
GDR + Hyacinth isn't bad either, since it ensures GDR tanks longer.
Carter + El Cid is also good, because it ensures Carter becomes beastly with epic skill defense.
Edward + Belthor is excellent because Belthor's skill changes enemies into sheep while Edward's lucky troops get crits and kill all the sheep. Sarky ca also work for this, but his luck is lower and honestly his skill activates too low to kill Belthor's sheep.
Ignatius/Sarky + Octavius is also good for the same reasons Merlin + Octavius is good.

Also, you may notice there seems to be two images of me getting a Silver key. They are not the same. See if you can spot the difference and post it in the comments below.
By the way, the last image (the four-star helmet) was from a silver chest.
*meaning interesting rather that good in this case.

Daily Hero #8-Belthor
Belthor is very good if used well enough, because when he polymorphs enemies, Musketeers, especially Edward (because of his lucky troops) will destroy sheep. Very effective for taking out enemies like GDR, although Octavius might counter better.

Hero Information Screen Tutorial
This post gives information on the hero info screen and what everything means.
Here is an image of my favorite hero, William on the hero info screen. I have circled some things and will be explaining them all in detail.
The grey circle is what the hero looks like, the hero's name, and the hero's rank level (1, 2, 3, or 4*).
The white circle is the backstory for the hero. (just for fun)
The dark green circle shows how to recruit the hero.
The purple circle shows the hero's troop type.
The red circle is the heroes HP, or how much damage the hero can withstand before dying.
The light green/lime circle is the hero's attack, or how much damage they do to an enemy*.
The blue circle is how much defense the hero has, or how much less damage they take from enemy attacks. Defense does not typically protect against skill damage.**
The black circle is the hero's luck, which is how often the hero and troops will get critical hits.
The yellow circle is the hero's dodge, which is the percentage of attacks the hero dodges.
The orange circle is the hero's active skill, which they will use in battles.
The pink circle is the hero's passive skill, which simply boosts the stats of the hero. A hero will never use his/her passive skill in battle.
*-Attack minus Defense is the amount of damage dealt to an enemy.
**-With the exception of Ignatius, whose attacks ignore defense.

Arthur's Skill

Firstly, it's like a HUGE halo that buffs defense on all nearby hereos. (notice the particles in the image below?)
