During my noobier days, I thought that AP was the deciding factor in whether you won or lost a battle. So naturally, I never challenged anyone with higher AP than me (there were quite a few, I was PL 40).
How wrong I was.
I challenged this person with 6000 less AP than me, and lost. I was amazed, and wondered why I lost. I challenged him again, and lost again. Wanting revenge, I wasted all my energy on that one person, and never won. He had tons of AOE, which, in retrospect, was very strong compared to my paviser-heavy defensive-ish rally.
Yes, I was a noob too once.
