The story behind Mini Warriors is as follows:

Algers was once a peaceful land, but battles over scarce resources have left the continent ravaged.   The time is ripe for a leader to rise and unite Algers beneath his flag, and that leader is you! Do you have what it takes to turn a city into an empire?

So I'm confused...
Is Algers the old world?
And what is this part about turning cities into empires?
Mini Warriors was so much more different in v1.0-1.4...
I'm going to call that the Old Times.
v1.5-1.7... Middle Ages?
1.8...Transition
1.9+ Modern Age
