Templar Cavalry have so far proved to be useless. Although they are immune to stun and polymorph, it seems that enemies will not even try to polymorph them. Polymorph mages will only proc on the nearest squad to them, and it seems that upgrading to them is useless. There is also a rumor that shock cavalry are not working either.
Seems like Triniti's coding style is bad. No wonder there are many problems with this game. I honestly want to take a look at the Tavern Rate code and the PVP Matchup code for this game.
But Lancelot is broken in a good way, he is must have hero until next patch where he will be fixed. And even broken cavalry can deal good damage.
