Don't Overload

Often, when a rally collapses, it is because a hero is overloaded. This can happen in one of four ways:

  • The hero's minions are matched against enemy minions that have an advantage against your minions.
  • The hero is matched up against an enemy with a perfect skill counter.
  • The hero is matched up against too many enemies.
When you match minions against their weakness, it can rip through your rally. Use the recommended minion type for countering an enemy as much as possible. Against tougher opponents, I suggest potentially swapping out some of your heroes for slightly weaker ones that can counter better.

The same applies for heroes matched up against skill counters. Hyacinth can be a very strong enemy hero-that's why I sometimes swap in and out Gawain.

Never overestimate the power of a hero and match them up against too many enemies. Alash can be wrecked by sufficient damage (as he is not invincible to everything) and Reinhard can be killed with a well-timed Elizabeth or Robinhood proc.

Make sure you don't make these mistakes (like me) when you are playing the game, ESPECIALLY in PVP.
